Un alloggio stupendo munito di ogni comfort e situato in un ambiente naturale meraviglioso. Curato nei minimi particolari ti permette di trascorrere le giornate contemplando l’ambiente circostante come se davvero tu potessi cogliere e vivere la atmosfera del paesaggio islandese . The Haafell Lodge is truly MAGNIFICENT! The location is secluded and absolutely beautiful….you will never want to leave. The Host Guorun is so helpful, charming, and completely attentive! The Lodge is one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail and appointed furnishings throughout the home are exemplary. The kitchen is fully equipped and the choice of appliances whether for coffee, espresso, hot tea or toast are all provided. Each bedroom has the most comfortable beds, private bathrooms and their own balcony. You will sink into the living room furniture as it is so comfortable and the view is breathtaking. The main deck and hot tub are spectacular as are the many hiking trails accessed from your front door! There is so much to do within daily drives on the peninsula yet you will not run into large crowds. We spent 3 wonderful nights and certainly will consider spending a week here next time. This property is a hidden gem that should not be missed.

Photos and words cannot even begin to do justice at the immaculate beauty of this space. As if taken from the cover of Dwell Magazine, this architectural gem is poised in a unique, tranquil, and excellent location with breathtaking views. The home itself is probably the best-equipped and well-stocked rental I've ever experienced (and I've traveled the world). The kitchen has everything you could need to actually cook a full meal, including spices, sharp knives, serving/mixing bowls, etc., and every creature comfort has been thought of and included in this cozy retreat. Can't speak highly enough of the hosts who were most courteous and kind with our late arrival, and left us to enjoy the tranquil peace of the countryside as we used the home for three nights and a jumping-off point to explore the entire western side of Iceland.

We have sleept there for four nights and it was amazing. High quality and lovely interior, super clean bathrooms and jacuzzis. We have spent months in iceland and it’s definitely the best place for Snaefellsness and the southern part of the Westfjords. The owners are super nice and friendly, if you have any questions they will be there for you. Definitely worth the price and we will come back for sure.

This is a drop dead gorgeous house in the most scenic location. Beautiful decor and well stocked kitchen. There are 3 bathrooms which is not common for rentals here! Hot tub + aurora, what more do you need?

Staying at the Haafel lodge was one of the best parts of our Iceland trip! The lodge was well equipped (including coffee, filters, and condiments) as well as several other amenities. We enjoyed the location of the lodge as it was on a farm with fantastic views - and relatively close to the snaefellsnes peninsula (where we spent the first part of our trip.) if the lodge is available, do yourself a favor and book as you will not regret it!!!

An Icelandic Paradise. Gorgeous villa very well decorated and designed. Fully equipped. The host opens you her house like an old friend, with kindness, caring and smile.
And the view on the hill and the sea is just magic !
