Good location, and great if you want to pick up some free food supplies! The staff are lovely and were very welcome, and there is an inside area for cooking which is handy if you’re staying in winter. The toilets are pretty basic but work fine. It isn’t a luxury campsite, but is great if you need somewhere easy and close to the airport. It’s also not that much more expensive than other sites as people seem to think - every site is between 2000-2500 ISK.

Ne vous y arrêtez pas.
34€ la nuit pour un van et deux personnes. Ceci est le prix pour installer votre van au bord de la route, à côté des poubelles. Les sanitaires sont ni plus ni moins que des toilettes de chantier et personne n’est présent pour vous accueillir. Cependant, quelqu’un vient bien frapper à votre porte pour vérifier votre numéro de réservation 🙄

The campsite is pretty expensive for what it offers, especially considering the facilities. It’s conveniently close to Keflavik airport, which is a plus, and I had heard it’s a good place to stop before camping to stock up on supplies. However, the communal area was way too small, and a lot of people left behind items like food from their camper vans. On the upside, there is a playground for kids, which was a nice touch, but overall, the experience was just okay.

It’s a great location near the airport but honestly other that that it’s not great. For a camp site all you really want are toilets showers and maybe somewhere to cook food. There are only like two showers/toilets for the whole camp site and given its location near the airport the small campsite was completely full. The kitchen is also very small given how many people stay here and it was very difficult to cook a meal with everyone packed around one stove. Basically there just aren’t enough facilities for how many people use the camp site and when it comes to campsites that’s all your really care about.

Close to Keflavík airport, it is very convenient for people that land there.
Amazing, brilliant staff, it is a family business - me and my brother felt so welcomed, they are such sweet people!
It is located by a gym, which is also very good with fair prices.
Good space for many vans and good point to see the Northern Lights!
Kitchen is small, but so cozy! The only issue there is the lady that lives in a camper van and it is always there listening loud music and trying to tell guests what to do and how to do (she does not work there).
Can’t wait to come back and say hello to the owners, learn about the country and language, hear their stories and check on the fabulous talented and hard worker artists and artisans that they know!
