Loved this place...a lovely couple happy to share their home...very friendly and welcoming. I found it easy to find but came from Djupivogur so knew it would be on the left and I spotted the sign. The room was lovely, the bed extremely comfortable! I was met with tea and a bowl of chocolate, later, another cup of tea...and more chocolate! During the evening I was also given a bowl of popcorn! They booked my tour to Papay Island which was great. For Iceland it wasn't expensive, but it may seem expensive to some visitors, depending what they are used to. The views from every window were stunning! I would love to go back with my husband.

Adventura was easily our most special most to stay on Iceland, and among the best of any of our international travels. The fjord location is beautiful, the grounds are filled with wildlife, the house is comfortable and very well-appointed, but what makes Adventura extra-special is Berlind and Gauti's warm hospitality. We stayed only a day but experienced homemade breakfast (smoked trout, lamb ham, amazing biscuits & cookies, etc), tea upon arrival, fjord ride on their boat, walking on their property to look at Eider nests, and many stories and insights about Icelandic life & history, just to name a few. We can't recommend it highly enough! We need to return to spend more time here...there's some great hiking nearby that we have time to do, and this would also be the ideal place to stay for viewing the Northern Lights.

Siamo stati ospiti in questa casa per una sola notte putroppo.||Casa bellissima sia come struttura che come posizione, direttamente sul mare in una insenatura. Vista meravigliosa. L'interno è arredato benissimo, le stanze sia nel soppalco che al piano terra sono belle, tutto il pavimento è in legno.||Cena e colazione cucinati dai nostri ospiti sono state squisite, tutte con prodotti freschi. ||E' stato fantastico chiacchierare con i padroni di casa, che ci hanno parlato delle tradizioni, delle leggende, della flora e della fauna locali.||Uno dei posti più belli in cui siamo stati in tutta la nostra vita.

After a long day hiking / driving and looking for the guesthouse which didn’t even showed up on GPS. But lucky the road sign was quit easy to find, however, it was a gravel road. I though it would be a nightmare.||||When the car stopped at front door, there was a guy welcomingly led us to the house.||||My first sound was “WOW OMG”. It was so spacey and warm. I felt like back to my own home. I couldn’t believe my eyes as the house had private bay at front and big mountains at the back.||||The house owners, Berglind and Gauti were very friendly. After a hot welcoming tea, Berglind explained the local restaurant a HIDDEN TREASURE to us.||||There was a natural hot water spring, not far from the guesthouse which was built by local village with millions dollar view.||||Morning homemade breakfast was nice. Nice warm break, homemade jam and special homemade berry juice.||||Place was lovely but it's not for those who are looking for 5 stars accommodation.||||We wish could stay longer and spend time to enjoy the view and homemade food (berry juice)!!

A mí, como escritor, me fascinaron sus anécdotas cazando en África y China||Las vistas al mar es espectacular. Zona virgen en la que anidan patos y charranes árticos||Uno de los atardeceres más espectaculares que he visto en mi vida (a medianoche)||Es caro, pero si te lo puedes permitir merece la pena||La estancia incluye cena (comimos trucha y reno cazado por él) y desayuno

Wir haben als Familie mit zwei Kindern 11 und 14 die CanopieTour gemacht und alle waren begeistert! 9 Seile, 2 als Superman über 2 km Länge. Es war richtig gut, die Guides nett und für jeden schaffbar. Absolut empfehlenswerte.

Amazing home of 2 very friendly hosts. Very desolate and beautiful surroundings. Cosy living room and nice bedrooms. On the pricey side but you pay for high Quality! Breakfasts was very good aswell! Would definitely recommend!
