Bergárfoss/ari margir vrkilega fallegir fossar og flúðir
Kom norðanfrá austan við Víðidalsá upp hjá Hrappstöðum.
Gekk frá heiðarvegi ofan bið tún kom að efstu fossum og niður með gili.
Ekki má sleppa Kolugljúfur gríðarlega fallegt gil með fallegum breytilegum fossum.
Dagin eftir fór ég vestan við Víðidalsá gekk á mótsvið Bergárfoss og aðeins lengra að skoða Ferðamannakletta. Fyrir vana fjallgöngu og ám er hægt að fara meðfram Víðidalsá og vað nokkru sinnum.

Það þarf að taka tillit til landeiganda á jörðum sem þarf að fara í gegn.

Til að komast að fossinum er farið eftir Hrappstaðavegi fram hjá Hrappst.að Dalsbrún.Þaðan er stutt ganga niður með ánni.
Á leiðinni niður eru margir litlir
fossar sem gaman er að skoða.

You can even come here in the winter if you have a 4x4 (which you should have in the winter anyway)

Following the advice from reviews. Park at the sign called 'Dalsbrún'.

You will have to open a gate to get to the sign, just remember to close it when entering and leaving (I think it's there for animals) and if the gate is locked then come visit the place another time.

Find the trail along the canyon, please try not to step on the moss of course as it wont grow back if you kill it.

Pictures and videos can't explain how beautiful this place is. The fact that it's in the middle of nowhere and not even a real tourist attraction makes it even more memorable.

La route pour y aller est facilement trouvable suite à la lecture des avis précédents, et le chemin de 20min n'est certes pas marqué au début, mais il se dessine peu à peu. C'est donc une cascade plutôt accessible. Je rajouterai juste qu'il ne faut pas hésiter à traverser en voiture 2 clôtures de champs de moutons.

This place is indeed reachable without trespassing, but it's not easy to find, it is best to follow the directions given in the last review, so don't cross the bridge at the canyon and keep following the road until you see the sign Dalsbrùn, actually you can even stop earlier (100 meters before that sign in a 90 degree left turn). But in either case, to reach the waterfall you follow the river down stream, or just find the small building on the other side of the river (as indicated in the photos) and go straight to there in one line, you'll find the waterfall in about 20 minutes of walking.
The waterfall is a nice one for sure and combined with the beautiful walk next to the river it's sure to be recommended.

So pretty! Indeed the google map route goes through private property and the one described by other reviewers (not crossing the bridge after the Kolugljufor canyon) is correct. It was for sure worth it!!

The public path detailed in previous reviews is currently close with a fence and the waterfall is therefore inaccessible, at least by car.

Beautifull waterfall, only possible with 4x4. Not easy to find, but i will tell you how to get there. Go to Kolugljúfur Canyon, do not cross the bridge, but follow the sandy road: (Hrappsstaðavegur). In Google maps the road stops at the little Village, but that is not truth. Go trough the Village and follow the sandy/stoney road untill you see the sign Dalsbrun. Park your car there. There is no path, find your own, but follow the river downhill. You do not have to cross the river. It is a 20 minutes hike to see the waterfall.
