This horse rental is host by the mother Iris and daughter duo, they are both extremely friendly and patient with us, as we booked the 2 hours experienced private beach tour, but we are very amateur with horse riding.

They took us out to the beach and showed us the landscape, while taking tons of pictures and videos. While riding, I had the chance to chat with them and you can feel their passion about their horses and the land they own. Amazing experience as you don’t usually come across such nice landscape as this is partly private land.

We end up spending 2.5 hours, loved every bit of it! Highly recommend if you are traveling on the East side of Iceland.

Haben hier spontan einen Ausritt gemacht. Buchung 2 Stunden vorher auf Website notwendig aber unkompliziert. Ganz tolle Landschaft für den Ausritt und super freundliche Menschen. Sie machen nur private Touren, es ist also immer sehr individuell ( Wir waren zu zweit mit zwei Guides) Auch für mich ohne Reiterfahrung war es sehr toll, sie haben gut trainierte Pferde. War kein Problem, dass einer reiten konnte und einer nicht.
Macht Lust auf mehr dort 🙂 Danke nochmal für alles

Definitely the place to experience Icelandic horseback riding. Beautiful horses and valley. Iris was incredible and patient.

Amazing ride that truly encompasses everything! Mountains, ocean, rivers, ride through the forest and flowers - it was just awesome! Iris took so many photos and videos to share with us and gave us great tips for things to do in the area. Great for both beginners and experienced riders. Thank you!!!

Fantastic experience. We were able to book with very short notice and we had such a good time. Iris and her team are obviously very experienced at handling small rides for total beginners, and the ride itself was great - highly recommended.

Our group joined Iris on the beautiful Lambay route to and through the river. Iris is super knowledgeable and funny! We also loved the fact that it's such a small company. They seem to take great care of their horses.

Also, she immediately saw that one person in our group was a little bit scared and made sure to put her on the most fitting (lazy haha) horse.

Would definitely recommend!

What an amazing experience - Iris was a wonderful guide and took our group of four through the beautiful hills, fields and creeks of the Eastfjörds. She was attentive throughout the 1,5 hour ride and made sure everyone was comfortable. One of the most memorable parts of our trip to a Iceland - absolutely recommend Fell Horse Rental if you are in the Eastfjörds!
