A little paradise in the middle of nowhere!
You get there over a gravel road, almost at the end of the wide valley. The hostel is simple, though full of love. Paul has been a great host and has created a beautiful, flowery garden, which gives the place a very special energy. The view is stunning and the shower in the garden an extra touch. Would definitely return for another stay!

Wonderful Hostel in the middle of nowhere. Can only book via email, but it's a great location, mountains and volcanos all around. Quaint place with a homely feel. It has a great well equipped kitchen and a lovely sitting room full of books. The shower is gravity fed in the garden, which will be a highlight from some and a drawback for others, we loved it, it was great to shower with a view. Would highly recommend if you want to stay off the tourist track.

It's about as much as one could ask for in such a beautiful location -- cozy, clean, warm, and with very welcoming/friendly hosts, not to mention access to some great walking/hiking right from the property. Easily worth staying a couple days (or more) if you have the time.

Auberge de jeunesse très tranquille avec des hôtes sympathiques. C'est très pittoresque : le paysage, perdu au milieu des montagnes et des moutons, la douche bricolée dans le jardin à rempli avec des seaux. Bref c'est génial même si un peu rustique (ladite douche, pas de Wifi, …).

Egy gyeptetős, mesés kis házikó a semmi közepén. Megközelítése picit nehézkes, de nem lehetetlen: kavicsos úton kb. 6 kilométert kell menni, de csak az utolsó 100 méterhez kell 4x4. A kilátás gyönyörű, a konyha elég jól felszerelt. Zuhanyzó viszont csak a kertben van, vödrökben lehet kivinni oda melegvizet és beletöltve a tartályba lehet zuhanyozni - ez egy szelesebb, hidegebb napon kicsit vad 🙂 . Mi 2 éjszakát töltöttünk itt és nagyon élveztük, szeretettel ajánlom.

Auberge de jeunesse très rustique mais bien équipée pour cuisiner. Le gros inconvénient est la douche dans le jardin sans eau courante. Vous pouvez faire votre toilette dans le lavabo de la salle de bain

Wonderful stay. Very cozy, with mini library next to a window overlooking the river valley and beautiful glacier mountains in the distance. Lovely garden and outside table for some reading with scotch or a nice ale. Perfection.
