We rented the whole house for 4 days, a family of 15. In spite of lousy weather we enjoyed every minute of our time together in lovely Helgugata 5!|All beds where comfortable. Bathrooms clean and new or newly renovated. Kitchen and diningroom had all we needed for our meals and having fun with cardplaying and quizes. The loft was a favourite for the youngest family with kids, 1 and 4 yrs old. A frame above the staircase made it safe for the baby.

Casa ampia, accogliente e luminosa. Stanza pulita con letto molto comodo, con wc e lavabo privati. Bagno con doccia in comune molto pulito. Al mattino la gentile proprietaria Mila ci ha fatto trovare una colazione composta da due torte, pane e due tipi di marmellate, frutta, tè e caffè, anche se non era inclusa nella prenotazione. Parcheggio gratuito affianco alla casa. Un bel posto in cui soggiornare.

The perfect place to stay when touring Iceland. It's not just a few rooms or an apartment. It's the whole house. 3 entire floors. Don't miss out on some quiet morning time on the third floor looking out over the water. A full kitchen made making dinner for 4 a breeze. Beautiful, clean house all around. Off street parking is a nice addition. So happy we booked here!

Una grande e bella casa con vista sul fiordo; si può parcheggiare gratuitamente di fianco all'abitazione. Abbiamo dormito nella camera mansardata con wc e lavabo privati (per la doccia si usano i due bagni in comune al piano inferiore, dove troverete anche il phon). Tutto molto pulito! Vi accoglierà Mila, una signora gentile che preparerà anche una leggera colazione nella bella sala da pranzo con vista sul fiordo: 2 torte, 2 marmellate con pane nero, frutta fresca, té e caffè (anche se non inclusa nel costo della camera, un gesto molto apprezzato!). Si lasciano le scarpe nel comodo ingresso a piano terra, ma è tutto estremamente pulito. Check-out fino alle 12. Consigliata!

Das 1. Gästehaus in Island, in dem man uns untersagt, uns in der Küche einen Tee zu kochen. Sehr merkwürdig. Die Gastgeberin wirkte etwas derangiert. Schade, das Zimmer war groß und ebenso wie das Bad sehr sauber. Wunderschöner Blick auf den Fjord aus dem Frühstücksraum.

Wir wurden freundlich Empfangen. Das Gästehaus ist schön eingerichtet und sauber. Die Gastgeberin betreibt gerne smalltalk, dadurch wirkt sie sehr sympatisch. Sie gibt gerne nürzliche Tipps für die Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind in verschiedenen Grössen, wir konnten unser sogar selber bestimmen. Das absolut beste war das Frühstück. Von Brot über Käse bis Fleisch, alles vorhanden. |Wir haben unseren aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Nice large place, and the owner even offered two single room for the price of a double one, which was great because one of my son's did not sleep well the previous night. They also gave a light breakfast, though I did not eat anything. Nice sunset view from the balcony.
