Hlemmur Suites is fantastic - great location for anything you need with transportation, food, and walkability. Hlemmur Suites has a very clean and modern common area, and my Suite welcomed me to rest in the most comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen, beautiful view, and fun lux touches like a heated towel rack and excellent rain shower. Wonderful for solo, fun, work, or family travelers. Perfect staycation for me, living in Iceland these days. The hotel apartment suites are all incredibly quiet, and I am a very light sleeper. I stayed one night on 26 December 2024, and cannot wait to be back on my next staycation. Highly recommend!

Very clean! Upgraded room with a decent view of the city, or the mountains (depending on your room). Very functional room. Not much in the way of supplies - if you're an AirBnBer. Very pleased with the directions. Parking is like everywher else in Iceland - you gotta figure it out!

We stayed here for three nights in a one bedroom apartment on the second floor and were really happy with our choice. The apartment was really conveniently located, very close to Bus Stop 10, one of the stops used by many day tours as well as a hotel shuttle stop for the Reykjavik Excursions' Flybus. It is also only a short walking distance to Bus Stops 12 & 13, used for other tours and has a supermarket nearby. It is about a 15min walk to central Reyjkavik's main city buildings and tourist sights. The Hlemmur Food Hall is also very close. Our 2nd floor apartment (a bit of a struggle up the winding staircase with moderately heavy bags, no lift) was well fitted out with everything we might need for our stay, including some basic provisions which we appreciated. Access was easy with the code to the front door and the key box. The apartment was very clean, quite spacious and had a nice view over Laugavegur St to watch the snow falling outside. WiFi was fine and very useful during our stay. All in all a great place to stay.

We liked this apartment. It is centrally located and spacious, although not fancy. The owner’s check-in instructions were easy to follow and they provided helpful tourist information in the apartment. The apartment provided everything you needed for living there including a living room, kitchen and washer/dryer with soap. The bed was in a small room/alcove with sliding door. The apartment itself was up three flights of stairs with no elevator. It was corner unit providing views of the surrounding buildings. The apartment itself is about a 10-minute pleasant walk to the main shopping area in Rekjavik. You can also easily walk to the famous church Hallgrimskirkja and the waterfront. There is a nearby grocery store as well. We also managed to find free parking on the street.

Stayed in apartment 3 which is up three short flights of stairs. Easy self check in. A two bedroom apartment with plenty of space for four adults. Everything you needed for a self catering break with a supermarket a couple of minutes walk away. This is a light and airy and clean apartment with essentials such as towels, toilet paper, washing up liquid etc provided, as well as maps and lots of tourist information provided also. The location is perfect, right opposite the Hllemmur bus station, if you are arriving by bus from the airport. We hired a car and had no problem finding a space to park (free) on the road outside the apartment. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone wanting a self catering break in Reykjavik.

all'interno dell'ostello sono disponibili alcune camere stile hotel con bagno, tv, frigobar e wifi gratis. le stanze sono al 5 piano e sono appena state rifatte, quindi sono molto belle per lo standard islandese. il bagno è nuovissimo, pulitissimo e con box doccia (una rarità) e courtesy kit. il letto matrimoniale è king size e la stanza è molto calda e silenziosa. il personale è gentilissimo e molto giovane. c'è un bar/ristorante al pianterreno molto frequentato dagli ospiti dell'ostello che offre happy hour e prezzi scontati agli ospiti della struttura, anche se non ne abbiamo usufruito. infatti l'hotel si trova in pieno centro, all'inizio della via principale in cui si trovano tutti i negozi, i ristoranti ed i locali. anche tutte i principali luoghi di interesse sono facilmente raggiungibili a piedi. parcheggio gratuito in strada disponibile nelle vicinanze. un'ottima scelta!

If you are planning on going to Reykjavik, I would highly recommend these apartments. We stayed in apartment 1 which had one bedroom and a pull out double bed - fine for 3 people. Pretty much everything is there for you, even toiletries, a hair dryer and adapter plugs! Great location and right by the bus pick up for trips. If I came back to Iceland I would definitely stay here again.
