Frábært hótel í hjarta Reykjavíkur. Allt til sóma, komum og bjuggumst ekki við neinu stórkostlegu en þetta kom okkur skemmtilega á óvart. Staðsetningin og allur aðbúnaður til fyrirmyndar. Mjög hlýlegt og gott fólk í móttökunni sem og fólkið eistaklega elskulegt sem þjónaði við morgunverðarhlaðborðið. Morgunverðurinn mjög góður.

Frábært hótel í alla staði. Rúmin virkilega góð og allt viðmót starfsfólks til fyrirmyndar. Gott andrúmsloft frá því að maður gengur inn um dyrnar. Morgunverðarborðið með mjög gott og með mikið úrval. Mæli hiklaust með og gisti þar pottþétt aftur.

Frábært hótel í alla staði. Allt hreint hvert sem litið var og framúrskarandi þjónusta. Morgunverður mjög góður og fjölbreytt úrval. ||Herbergið rúmgott og afar snyrtilegt. ||Þetta hótel fær fullt hús stiga.

We stayed here during our recent trip. The rooms were not big but sufficient and clean. Great location right by the marketplace. There is a convenience store just a few doors down, ice cream shop and lots of restaurants. Easy walk to all of the sights and the harbor. We had asked about parking and the staff told us about the different parking zones. For some reason nobody mentioned that there is an actual parking garage right around the corner. We were able to easily park there for about $30.00 every night. Pillows and comforter were super comfy and housekeeping was available upon request. I enjoyed the heated bathroom floors. The room was warm so we had to sleep with the window open. It was a little noisy since the hotel is located on a corner and our room faced the street. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. Good breakfast with lots of options. The fresh bread was delicious.

Spend 5 nights at Hotel Reykjavík Centrum. Very nice and service minded staff, nice large room and good breakfast. The hotel is located in the calm part of the city center, yet city centre still within walking distance.

The hotel consists of 3 houses which have been connected. This has been done in a very respectful and interesting way, which has preserved the original street view of the houses. Although it’s 3 separate houses moving about inside the hotel works seamlessly.

Would happily come back.

It is difficult to find something negative about the hotel. Friendly staff, cosy place with possibilities to sit outside the corridor at each floor (for max. 4 persons), Great breakfast and very comfortable rooms.||Perhaps the only problems is the name. Many hotels around use the name "Central" - I counted at least 4 in perimeter of 200 meters. SO, you continue to walk around with your suitcase until you find this hotel (driver drops you close to "Central plaza"!||Highly recommended, in contrary to other hotel later on.

The Hotel Centrum is a very pleasant and modern hotel convenient to much of Reykjavik. Breakfast options were first rate. The staff was friendly. There is a fair amount of outside noise (mostly pedestrians, not vehicles) so you will want to sleep with your windows shut, even if the weather is nice. Without any A/C in the building the room can get stuffy at night but the staff offered us a fan that helped quite a lot.||Be sure to visit the Settlement Exhibition that is located beneath the hotel (the site was discovered during construction so they built a museum then the hotel on top).

My family and I have the most amazing time in Iceland and hotel Reykjavik Centrum had a big part in why.
We stayed in the junior suite, it was great with lots of room my husband and I, and a down stairs for our 2 boys. Very clean 👌

The staff were lovely, one of the ladies behind the desk was particularly great, helping us with booking activities and answering questions we had about the local area, even took our photo for us on the balcony that was part of our room. Like the old photos round the hotel that give it so much history.

The location was perfect, a shop for drinks and snacks just 3 doors down, and right in the centre of town with food outlets and shops, and only 10min walk to the bus station.

Will definitely use this hotel when I iceland again. Thanks for a great stay.
