5 stars isn't enough! They were absolutely amazing. We saw a humpback whale, Minke whales, tons of dolphins and a lot of muffins and other wildlife. Even if we didn't see anything, the staff would have made a great and memorable experience for our group. Especially Silva, she was so friendly and knowledgeable!

Tour delle balene davvero emozionante. Noi abbiamo prenotato quello con base a Olafsvik, e siamo stati molto contenti. Purtroppo il tour dura parecchio e il mare nordico spesso agitato può creare qualche difficoltà di stomaco. Mi raccomando di partire preparati per questa escursione perché molto particolare. La struttura presso Olfasvik risulta un po’ piccola, ma fornita del necessario (tute da indossare), bagni e shop connessi. Consiglio vivamente a chi vuole vedere le balene, bisogna solo tenere duro tra le onde (se soffrite il mare)!

Had a great trip today! We saw three sperm whales and two pods of orcas. The tour guides were very kind and knew a lot about the animals. They also took great care not to disturb them, but we still got pretty close. Would highly recommend!

We went on the 2 pm whale watching tour at the end of April. We saw a pod of 15-20 orcas and followed them for nearly an hour!! It was so magical and the tour operators did a great job with explaining facts about the whales, Iceland, the puffins that were flying around, and how to be a good visitor/respect nature.
They also gave us full suits to stay dry and warm while on the boat. It was 50 degrees F and sunny but on the water it was much colder, I'd recommend gloves and a winter hat. It was a calm day but the waves were still intense, this tour would be difficult for small children and anyone who gets seasick easily. They did have a bench in the back and along the front of the boat for those where needed to sit down, and an enclosed area inside with a marine restroom. The lookout deck on top was our favorite part, but definitely make sure you hang on to the rails!

Went today (May 16th). At the 10:00 am. Tour and I got to say: Lakí Tours has done a tremendous job training their Orcas so they show up whenever their guests expects to see them. So, yeah.. Excellent service. lol

All jokes aside... it was GREAT we saw multiple orca pods and it only took around 30 to 40 minutes at max. to spot the first group.. we saw at least like.. like... like a lot of them, I lost count tbh.. And we even got to see a Sperm whale's Tail too, right before big guy went for a deep dive and we lost him.

Anyway, I would recommend this to anyone, even if you don't get to see any big fish, the views from the boat towards Iceland are something beautiful and stunning.

Didn’t know what to expect from the whale watching tour and was a little worried it might be some “tourist trap” but Láki Tours was amazing! I love that they obviously care about the animals and try to protect them rather than exploit. The crew even encouraged the visitors to protect the oceans etc. We saw a pod of orcas that we followed for about an hour, until the crew said we shouldn’t disturb them any longer - very thoughtful! Yet the orcas came to say hi one more time after we left:) Truly wonderful creatures. What was also amazing was that we had a “orca specialist” on board and she was able to identify the exact orcas we saw based on their fins! Had a great time!

Alles goed geregeld bij Laki Tours. Er gingen tussen de 40-50 man mee op de boot en we dachten eerst dat dat veel te veel zou zijn, maar dit was prima. Het moeten er niet meer worden, want dan is het je geld niet waard.

Wij hebben alleen orka’s gezien, wat we heel cool vonden. Zelfs een moeder en een baby orka. De tour duurde zo’n 3,5u.

Half uur van tevoren aanwezig zijn.

The crew was very organized and friendly. They gave you waterproof suits to keep you even warmer. We saw a blue whale, which apparently is very rare to spot in those waters.
