We had a fantastic stay at Middalskot Cottages. The location was perfect for touring the Golden Circle. The cottage itself was nicer than expected -- we appreciated the two bedrooms and kitchen, and we loved that it was stocked with tea and coffee. It was also great to have a sofa to sit on and a large table to eat at, unlike in many hotels. It was very quiet and peaceful here.

This cottage was so beautiful! It was clean and very clearly custom designed. We wish we had stayed more nights here. We visited during spring, but I can tell it would be just as magical in Winter, complete with homemade mittens and hats for sale in the cottage, and a custom map of the area. I booked with VRBO and unfortunately the host had trouble contacting me, and I had to go through the VRBO help line to get check in instructions, but I don't suspect that would typically be an issue. Would highly recommend staying here, and give yourself extra time to explore the surrounding area

I enjoyed every moment in this beautiful cottage! The location was stunning, peaceful, and surrounded by gorgeous nature – truly the perfect place to unwind. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and equipped with everything I needed.

What really made this experience exceptional was the amazing hospitality of the owner. During my stay, I accidentally forgot a necklace. To my surprise and immense gratitude, she personally brought it all the way to Reykjavik! That extra level of service is truly special and shows just how caring and attentive she is.

I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a beautiful and worry-free place to relax. A top recommendation, with a five-star experience from start to finish!

We had a great stay! The beds were really comfortable and the house was really spacious. The house also had a beautiful view! The only downside was that it got pretty hot in the summer. I still really recommend this place!

Unser Aufenthalt mitten im „Golden Circle“. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in nächster Nähe. Wir hatten dort einen sehr angenemen Aufenthalt mit zwei Schlafzimmern und vier Betten. Davor eine großzügige Wohnküche.
Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern lief problemlos schriftlich und telefonisch. (Daher keine Sternebewertung)

Wir weiter zu Gast im Haus Nr. 2a. Hier ist alles bestens - gute Möbel, einschließlich Küche, Sofa und Betten. Die Ausstattung ist sehr reichhaltig. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war einwandfrei. Wir können die Cottages sehr empfehlen.

Love the cottage. So warm with useful necessities. Lucky for us we get to see Northern light in front of the house at the mountain. Definetly recommended.Easy check in n check out.

Really nice cottage houses with great view. Well equipped kitchen, big table to fit a group of seven, comfy beds and clean, spacious bathroom.
There's a big porch in front of the house and a grill which we didn't use.
