It's a decent guesthouse but can accommodate 9 people at once (busy season). The pancakes are good as everyone mentioned but the dining table accommodates only 6-7 people at once, so you might have to await your turn for breakfast. And the pancakes shall turn cold by then 😐 ... Also, the beds aren't the most cozy but you put up with all of this because Iceland provides very few stay options anyway

I don’t understand 3.6 rating. For a guesthouse it was great. It’s not a hotel you have to expect to share bathrooms (which were lovely). Hot tub outside was fantastic.
Breakfast very tasty and we were even given pancakes for lunch.
Couple who were looking after the property were really friendly and accommodating.
Highly recommended.

Visited when the guesthouse was full and shared two bathrooms/toilets between everyone which meant choosing quiet times to use the facilities - early morning and late. Breakfast was ok and prepared by the host but unfortunately there were a LOT of flies at this time of year and it was impossible to keep them from the food.

Pleasant guesthouse with friendly and helpful owner who invited us to have dinner with her (and it was a very good dinner too). Bedroom was comfortable - a bit small but there is a large and elegant lounge room available for the use of guests so this was absolutely no problem. Judging by our experience there is no way this deserves the one-star rating a couple of users have given.

Sigga was a wonderful host and fun to talk to! Her home is very cozy, despite being able to fit a number of people. She has 2 very sweet dogs and prepares a wonderful breakfast for everyone. I would definitely recommend staying at her guest house!

Wasn't as described in the photos, hotpot doesn't look like its been used for years! had a hostel feel to the place. Got given a twin room when we booked a double months ago. Breakfast was covered in flies and the fridge absolutely stank.

Wow. I booked this place based off of its location to Skogafoss and the reviews it had already received. This place is amazing and stands up to its reviews. A cute little hot tub, a gorgeous deck that looks out into the field, a short walk and you hit the waterfall. The ladies running the guesthouse were so sweet and accommodating. The rooms were adorable. It felt like home for a night, I wish I could have stayed another night!

Do not book, no one was available, emailed the owners multiple times for confirmation and had no reply. When we arrived there was no one home, the lights were off and some of the windows were open. The Kitchen sink was visible through the window and was full of moldy dishes. Luckily the nearby hostel had room.
